Deadline extended to this afternoon
The deadline for buying your banquet tickets on Pay Pal has been extended to this afternoon at 4pm. They are $25 per ticket via Pay Pal and $30 at the door. $10 for current Men's and Women's team members.

2012 Letter to Alumni from Miles
Hello fellow rugby brethren,
First and foremost the date of the Alumni weekend is Friday, April 27th through April 28th. For our senior alumni the pitch has been moved to a new location on campus. The pitch is now at the Outdoor Recreation and Athletic Fields (section C-6 on the map) next to the Day Care center. If you have not seen the complex in the last year or two it is unbelievable!
A block of 5 rooms (2 queen, non-smoking) has been reserved at the Sleep Inn (48th street and Lake Michigan) in Allendale under the name RUGBY ALUMNI, click HERE for a link to the Hotel. I have also arranged to receive a group discounted rate of $89.00 which would originally have cost $149.00 for this weekend. These rooms are first come first serve until April 15th. Please be on your best behavior I would like to keep a working relationship with the Sleep Inn and be able to come back next year.
The E-board will be hosting an open forum in the meeting room of the Main Street Pub corner of 48th and Lake Michigan drive, Friday evening from 7pm – 8pm, all are welcome to come and offer input, suggestions or to ask questions of the E-board. After several years of service Ogre has regrettably informed the Alumni Board that he will be stepping down as President at the end of the month. With that being said we will be looking for someone to join the E-board ASAP. Please talk to myself (Vice-President), Chalupo (Treasurer), BA (Secretary), or Inferno (Social Chair) if you are interested, we would love to have some
younger alumni on board. We are also using this time as a meeting point for those who are coming in from out of town.
Inferno worked hard to solidify all of the details of the social and dinner at the Lincoln Country Club. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of. Doors open at 6:15 for cocktails and dinner will be served at 7:00. Everyone is encouraged to clean up before dinner. The highlight of the evening as always, is Matt Bishopski and the nearly world famous rugby auction. The auction is only possible with YOUR donations, so remember to bring at least one item (new or used) to be auctioned and a few bucks.
Because we had so many people that made an RSVP and didn’t show (the board paid for 12 people at $25/head that did not show), this year individuals will be purchasing their tickets online, and your purchase is your RSVP in efforts to gather a more accurate guest list.

We had a very good turn out of alumni last year. Many of you are now living out of the West-Michigan area and made a great effort to get back for last years alumni weekend. We have alumni from California, Florida, Arizona, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Funtucky, and Tex-Ass, making it this year. On the flip side, I know that we still have a large number of Old Boys were not able to make the trip, for one reason or another. Please make a heartfelt effort to come back and catch up with all of the guys and perhaps get a short run in (periods are only 15 minutes). A large number of the original alumni from the early 2000’s will be coming this year for the first time, which is exciting! Old Boys are 12-0! Let’s keep it going.
